WWI Aero Builders Club
 

This group's mission has been to build a replica WWI ¾-scale Fokker E-III aircraft. The Aero Builders Club members are all high school age students primarily from the local Civil Air Patrol squadron and Harold Richards High School Aviation Club. 

Guided by Project Leaders Dan Christine and Chris O'Reilly, these young aviation enthusiasts' goal was to turn the $4500 kit into a flyable aircraft.  The replica is now complete and flew for the first time on October 8, 2008.  It is currently on display at the Museum.

The Aero Builders' Fokker project was funded entirely by donations.  We would like to offer another Builders project when funding is available.

The cost to join the Aero Builders Club is $20, and membership is limited to 30 high school age participants.   Contact the Museum for more information.
